Joji, the acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer formerly known as a popular YouTuber, is preparing to release his fourth studio album Piss in the Wind on February 6, 2026, via Palace Creek.
The new album connects his previous sound with his current style, combining melancholic and introspective lyrics with gritty yet atmospheric production.
Earlier this month, Joji unveiled the album's initial single, "PIXELATED KISSES", marking his first release since his 2022 album SMITHEREENS. The track quickly gained millions of streams worldwide, now nearing 50 million, and entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
On November 5th, Joji released another single, "It It Only Gets Better", which reflects his lo-fi origins by blending acoustic guitar with syncopated bass and rich harmonies. The single is supported by a video directed by James Mao, which playfully references Joji’s breakthrough hit "YEAH RIGHT" from his 2018 album BALLADS 1. The video contrasts energetic, club-like visuals with reflective, minimalist lyrics.
"It It Only Gets Better recalls his lo-fi roots, weaving acoustic guitar with syncopated bass and soaring harmonies."
Joji’s past album SMITHEREENS included the RIAA twice Platinum-certified and Spotify Global 50 No. 1 hit "Glimpse of Us", his most successful single to date.
