Cassidy, now 43, revealed that Paloma Faith, 44 and known from Celebrity Traitors, was among those who bullied her while they attended the same secondary school in London.

Natalie credited much of her early life to joining EastEnders at just 10 years old, suggesting her early fame might have sparked jealousy among her peers. “There wasn’t anywhere else I wanted to be. Maybe because when I wasn’t there, school was difficult, people were jealous,” she said. “You know, there was bullying that went on. So I always just wanted to be there because it was so fun and I was surrounded by nice people.”
