Former footballer and TV presenter Alex Scott is reportedly among the new celebrities joining this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. The 41-year-old, known for her accomplishments with the Lionesses and her broadcasting work with the BBC, could soon head to the Australian jungle for the popular reality show.
Alex built her reputation on the football field, representing clubs such as Arsenal, Birmingham City, and teams in the United States. As a member of the England national squad, she earned 140 caps and competed for Team GB during the London 2012 Olympics. Following her retirement, she became a respected sports pundit, including appearances on Match of the Day.
Off the pitch, Alex’s personal life has occasionally attracted attention. Reports suggest she once went on a challenging date with Coronation Street actor Sam Robertson. The pair met for a candlelit dinner in a London Soho restaurant in 2020, but the experience turned out to be less than ideal.
“I never seem to have a lot of luck on dates. My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely.”
“The next morning, our pictures were all over the press because someone in the restaurant had taken a photo.”
Alex Scott, an accomplished footballer turned TV presenter, may soon take on the jungle challenge, revealing more of her life beyond sport and television.
