Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Alex Vesia and his wife Kayla shared heartbreaking news on Friday about the passing of their baby daughter.
"Our little angel we love you forever & you’re with us always," the couple wrote. "Our beautiful daughter went to heaven Sunday October 26th. There are no words to describe the pain we’re going through but we hold her in our hearts and cherish every second we had with her."
Their daughter, Sterling Sol Vesia, died on October 26th. The couple did not disclose the cause of death.

Alex Vesia, 29, was not on the Dodgers' World Series roster due to a personal leave of absence. The couple had announced their pregnancy in April.
