Three Cats Selected in the AFLW All-Australian Squad

Three standout Geelong players have earned spots in the initial AFLW All-Australian squad for their impressive 2025 seasons: Georgie Prespakis, Aishling Moloney, and Mikayla Bowen.

About the Squad

The squad features the top 42 players from the 2025 AFLW season. The final 22-player team will be announced at a later date.

Georgie Prespakis

Prespakis has been included in the preliminary squad for the third time in four seasons and aims to add a second All-Australian selection to her record, having previously made the 2022 (S7) team.

Her outstanding season saw her rank among the AFLW's top five players in total disposals, inside 50s, contested possessions, and clearances.

"Georgie Prespakis slots a wonderful snapping goal from a stoppage, giving her side an early lead in her 50th game."

Mikayla Bowen

Bowen had a breakout year for the Hoops, securing her second All-Australian squad nomination and pursuing her first All-Australian selection. She played multiple roles, achieving career highs in disposals, tackles, contested possessions, and score involvements, while also kicking six goals.

Aishling Moloney

Moloney has been named in the All-Australian squad for the second year running, following another outstanding season as a key forward.

Summary: Three Geelong stars—Prespakis, Bowen, and Moloney—earned initial AFLW All-Australian squad honors in 2025, reflecting their strong and versatile performances throughout the season.
