MOGO Uganda Finances Over 100,000 Smartphones in 200 Days
MOGO Uganda, a part of the Eleving Group, has reached an important milestone by financing more than 100,000 smartphones just 200 days after launching its smartphone loan product in April 2025. This rapid growth reflects MOGO’s dedication to promoting digital inclusion throughout Uganda.
Commitment to Economic Mobility
At the product launch, Tomas Sudnius, Regional Eleving CEO of the Asia and Africa Hub, emphasized the group’s vision for enabling economic mobility through accessible financing:

Accessible and Affordable Smartphone Financing
The smartphone loan product is designed to make owning a device simple and affordable for Ugandans. Customers can acquire a smartphone with an initial deposit as low as UGX 80,000 and flexible repayment plans that may be daily, weekly, or monthly, starting from UGX 848 per day.
