Adelaide Metro is spreading festive cheer by providing free travel on all buses, trains, and trams from 6am to 2pm on Saturday, November 8. This initiative helps families attend the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant with ease.
The 2025 free travel event supports thousands of South Australians in enjoying this cherished annual celebration, known as the largest public street parade in the southern hemisphere. Last year, it attracted over 300,000 spectators.
“Adelaide Metro is so pleased to provide free public transport to help children and families get to the city for the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant,” said spokesperson Michelle Spagnoletti. “We’ll have additional services running on the day, so hop on board and leave the car at home.”
To ensure safety during the event, several road closures and temporary bus stop changes will be implemented across the CBD.
The free travel initiative by Adelaide Metro makes attending the Christmas Pageant accessible and stress-free, encouraging families to use public transport and enjoy the festive event together.
