Netflix Unveils Animated Spinoff 'Stranger Things: Tales From '85'
Netflix has announced a new animated series titled Stranger Things: Tales From '85, set to premiere in 2026. The story unfolds between Seasons 2 and 3 of the original show, taking viewers back to Hawkins in the winter of 1985.
Plot and Setting
The series will follow Eleven, Mike, Max, Lucas, Dustin, Will, and Hopper as they confront a new paranormal mystery in their small Indiana town during a particularly cold season.
Creative Team
The project is led by showrunner Eric Robles, along with Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer.
“With animation there’s really no limits,” said Ross Duffer. “Eric and his team can just go wild, and they have.”
